John B. Johns, Assistant Deputy Under Secretary of State of Defense for Maintenance, US Department of Defense, sends his apologies for not being able to attend. Mr. Johns is deploying to Iraq as the Director, Strategic Logistics, Iraqi Security Forces where he will be responsible for advising and assisting the Iraqi government in establishing logistics and industrial capability required to sustain their military forces and national police. He will be providing his presentation slides and a transcribe for the brief he would have delivered at the conference. This will be made available to conference delegates after the event.
