Oshkosh - SandCat
The SandCat is a high-speed, highly protected, highly-manoeuvrable vehicle that can be specifically designed for a wide variety of roles. It can be reconfigured to fit a wide variety of missions: military, homeland defence, global war on terror, law enforcement and security, special operations, disaster aid and peace-keeping missions. All while meeting the rigorous demands needed for crew and vehicle protection, reliability, versatility, payload capacity and affordability.
TMV- 6x6M
The TMV 6x6M, the first of a series of such vehicles, is designed for military applications. Its armour-clad, fully enclosed "bath tub" hull houses all major components, offering significantly greater protection from mines and IEDs than conventional vehicles. Using a composite cab and composite rear pod for troop carrying applications, the vehicle is designed to provide high levels of protection against ballistic threats.
Iveco - LMV
IVECO Defence Vehicles Division has closely researched the demands placed on light tactical vehicles by the multiplicity of operations which they are required to undertake. Based on the output of this research, and on the company's own extensive experience of the market sector, a programme was initiated to develop an innovative and highly adaptable Light Multirole Vehicle (LMV).
We have a strong track record of attracting the prime suppliers as sponsors and exhibitors but, until now, we have not had the capacity to host the more specialist component suppliers who are equally vital to the industry. Feedback from previous attendees showed a strong demand for us to remedy this by opening the exhibition to this tier of suppliers, which has underpinned our move to London's ExCel Centre.
